After a great team effort, Qadria Trust were granted full planning permission from Birmingham City Council to build the whole complex of the Islamic Centre of Britain (ICOB) in December 2020. This is a great achievement for our local community and the future generations it will endeavour to serve. ICOB is a landmark project. Therefore, allowing ICOB to have a National landmark status in the heart of the United Kingdom, Birmingham City.
ICOB will have provide an iconic 6 storey Mosque, an Islamic Education Centre – providing both the national curriculum and Islamic Education, a Community Centre open to all and a Commercial Centre generating income towards the running costs of ICOB.
