As the blessed month of Ramadan graces us with its presence, we are reminded of the immense rewards and the profound impact our acts of charity can have on both our lives and the lives of others. At the Islamic Centre of Britain in Birmingham, we invite you to join us in this sacred journey by supporting our Sadaqah Jariyah campaign – a charity that continues to give, even after we are gone.
Your generous donation to this campaign will not only help sustain the work of the Islamic Centre of Britain, but it will also continue to benefit you in the Hereafter, In’Sha’Allah. Every penny you contribute will go towards vital projects that will serve generations to come – from the construction of the Masjid, educational facilities to the provision of essential community services.
We are asking for a donation of just £100, which can go a long way in supporting:
In the blessed month of Ramadan, when the rewards of good deeds are multiplied, your £100 can be a source of continuous blessings for you and your loved ones – Let your sadaqah today be the seed of a legacy that benefits you, your family, and your community for generations to come!
In 2009, a decision was made to establish the Islamic Centre of Britain (ICoB).
More than a place of worship; it’s a Community Development Hub designed to meet the diverse and evolving needs of the Muslim community.
An iconic, 6 storey feat of modern architecture in Birmingham, that will be so much more than a mosque (masjid). A centre of learning that will embody the ideals and principles advocated for by our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). A space where young people will be given the tools to aspire to greatness, our elderly will be looked after and those curious to learn, can build their knowledge taught by the very best.
This unique space will serve as a symbol of inspiration, bridging cultural diversity and reshaping how we embrace learning and worship.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
[Sahih Muslim]
